Cyndi Sung my life story back in 1983

I come home in the morning light
My mother says when you gonna live your life right
Oh mother dear we're not the fortunate ones

And girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun

The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells what you gonna do with your life
Oh daddy dear you know you're still number one

But girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have

That's all they really want
Some fun
When the working day is done
Girls - they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun

Some boys take a beautiful girl
And hide her away from the rest of the world
I want to be the one to walk in the sun
Oh girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have

That's all they really want
Some fun
When the working day is done
Girls - they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun,
They want to have fun,
They want to have fun...
Girls Just Want To Have Fun

+ LISTEN LISTEN LISTENNNNNNNNN!

OK, I was thinking about this last night...and some of today and I thought about how I would present this blog and what It would be about and I've decided that it will be my INSPIRATION BLOG! TADAHH! this blog will be mainly about things that inspires me and also deal with personal life. So I hope you enjoy!

I ended up watching this fashion documentary today on this lovely Sunday afternoon on the Sundance channel called Seamless
its a Superficial fashion-biz documentary following aspiring young designers in a competition sponsored by Vogue and Council of Fashion Designers of America

and now I'm about to watch this movie about a photographer named William Klein and the movie is called Who Are You, Polly Maggoo? and If anyone knows me and what I like I LOVE and I mean LOVE the 60s and 70s style and everything that I stood for even the negatives those 2 decades are so inspiring! find the movie and watch it because I know I am! By the way its a french documentary so that made it even more beautiful!

what inspiration! :)

For this fall I don't know why I'm attracted more neutral colors and and the whole goth look...would I ever go completely goth? no but I would LOVE design things like this I think this editorial was inspired by YSL's latest fall collection, or at least that what It reminds me of

nothing like another lonely Saturday in the house with a glass of wine watching the TCM channel trying to sketch out some new shit while also anticipating on a macbook and what color I should get...ugh the tragedy (Movie: Paper Moon 1973)

Photographer:Steven Klein
Stylist:Camilla Nickerson

4th Demensional Transition

I have a thing for scruffy guys...hippies...etc I think they're so cute especially Andrew Vanwyngarden from MGMT. I like 'weird' boys
Religion is a light in the fog
Philosophy is a walk on slippery rocks
I'm not aware of too many things...
but I know what I know, if you know what I mean.

I wish I could escape from my own reality...

A Glamour ZOMBIE

RAMBLING #2
Its weird how people build illusions off of other peoples lives. How much they rather be that person from what they see and what they 'know'. Its amazing because we all do it glamorize like some cheesy flashback moment in a 80s sitcom. But were all humans none of us are better than each other. We live off of other people even when we don't realize it. Yeah if you want to be a loner but our mind needs that mental connection that is found when you find that special someone...no one can live alone. I always keep my mind open because I would never want to grow old of ignorance set in my ways hating the world hating people waiting to die and have nothing to live for...basically pitiful...I COULD NEVER LIVE LIKE THAT...I feel sorry for elderly people who lost the one they depended on, their life partner that they thought was set in stone then all of a sudden they're physical body dies...its sad being dependent can ruin ones mind mentally and physically, Being untrustworthy can turn a persons soul cold with hate and fear.

"What I suppose is perfect, what is very heaven, is when you find a sexual partner with whom you can lose yourself with. Who with you can create a sexual context of absolute perpetual bliss, a moment that exists outside of time a moment where your unaware of your birth and unaware of your death where your absolutely in that animalistic moment and yet at the same time divine" -Russell Brand (SHAME DVD)

As I see my best thoughts come out of me late at night/early in the morning...I cant sleep. I love people who philosophize on life and make me realize how big 'life' really is and see that it stands for much more that what it actually is. Like Russell Brand even though he is a comedian he also philosophizes on life alot when he generally talks and I like that about him. Even though people see him as self obsessed I find him smart.

thank u mr. president

i want all 3 broaches

Dont trip you can do it too

I've been wearing my hair like this for a week straight...

GUY CRUSHEEEEEESSSSSSS

If I could meet them my life would be complete

still dreaming...

I dreamed of a place where I didn't have to brush my hair where no one cared if you really looked nice and tame 100 percent of the time where people understand style and creativity and looked at you as an artist and not a bum. Where on every street corner there is inspiration and somewhere great to eat on every corner. Where the city smelled of starving artists selling their souls for dreams...Where people live off of paycheck to paycheck but still seem to love life barely surviving, as long as they live on this one specific dream. This is the place where millionaires are born and live...I want to be there...can you guess this wonderland?

...I dream of my future everyday. I'm still trapped in a box

White Rabbit

I've been looking for this song for ages! Ever since I seen this Hippie Documentary on the History channel I forgot to write it down! but anywho Wow now I can drop acid while I listen to this song (not really! are u crazy!?) But Grace from Jefferson Airplane is amazing her voice is hypnotizing (you might recognize the song "somebody to love" from alot of movies that were based around the 1960s-1970s they use that song alot)

Life aint real funky unless Its got that POP LIFE

So this weekend will be real chill for me as I feel myself channeling Andy Warhol himself more than ever now adays, it makes me wonder who I really was in my past life? (lol) I just don't really feel like hanging around people and going out to clubs...I'm not a club type of person
"I'm the type who'd be happy not going anywhere as long as I was sure I knew exactly what was happening at the places I wasn't going to. I'm the type who'd like to sit home and watch every party that I'm invited to on a monitor in my bedroom." -Andy Warhol

I'm losing my appetite as the days progress even though this chicken tetrazzini is very good. BOO HOO!...ughh I wish I had macbook. I need to stop making future plans about things I want to do (even my horoscope said I shouldn't do things like this) I'm just going to live life as It is day by day. But I like to make goals and stuff and plan things out long in advance. Maybe my horoscope means long term goals??...oh well

(my dinner)

MY PHILOSPHY ON THE EVOLUTION OF ORIGINALITY

This is only my opinion. Ok through the 1920s-1990s shit was original by the people who set the trends and also style statements on the early fashion scene. But now in the 2000s style repeats itself as a cycle, trends repeat all the time by history. People look to the past for inspiration on how to revamp the era of clothing/style. I just hate when people say that they are original (and I'm talking about my generation). Your not original, someone way before your time has created the style or type of clothing that your revamping or re-creating. But they're are a few people that do create original things that no one ever thought about doing that are innovative like for example right off the top of the head (dee and rickys lego heart broaches,Melodys custom jewelry, Miss Waxx Jewelry -and that's just accessory wise) but people like Yves Saunt Laurent,Oscar De La Renta ,CoCo Chanel, Jeremy Scott with his off the wall prints & innovative designs just to name a few that was before my generation. Now adays we have to revamp and restyle and some how make an old style look better or some how different from when it first was originated. As so for hairstyles I hate when people say they are the first to rock something. Do your homework and look back at history because most likely someone else before has had that style

GIRL CRUSH:Kelly Osbourne

(I have alot of girl celebrity(style) crushes, Its that I idolize these people and are some how an inspiration to me)

p.s I want an English Boyfriend...If I ever get a chance to go across the pond and meet an english bloke and fall inlove...I'm done people lol

GIRL CRUSH:Rumer Willis

I think shes beautiful, sexy, unique, gosh I love her bone structure... can we be best friends??

Buying In Bulk

(Random Rambling entry #1)
I've always been a bulk buyer, even when I was little I would buy everything in two's. Just to the simple fact of thinking that I didn't ever want lose it or eventually run out. What I mean by buying almost everything in bulk is that when I shop online (specifically when I shop online) I add all of the shit I want to the basket (which is usually overpriced for my pockets to handle at one time)Its like I just don't want the 'couple of things' I want the whole fucking haul of shit that I've been wanting. Like my MAC makeup starter kit(+ the NARS) I just bought. I spent 500$ on just makeup alone. I dont really feel bad about doing this, but its what I do. I just cant buy one thing. But I am very patient when it comes to getting material things :)

Little Bit

Tribute To Bowie

As I sit here in my room, unaccomplished of the goals that I set the night before. Feeling guilty and broke...is not a good way to feel right about now. But my theory is 'theirs always tomorrow' even though people always say 'their might not be a tomorrow'. I don't think of it that way...Lately(since I've graduated from highschool) I no longer feel comfortable mooching off my parents. I feel pathetic about other people giving me money when I should already should have a job, but with this recession its no joke trying to find a job and plus with my little job experience...doesn't make it any better! I'm tired of giving people excuses of why I didnt do something. I think I have a mild case of agoraphobia... well anywho that's besides the point! David Bowie just popped into my mind today and decided to give a tribute to him (in this blog)

(btw lol fav show)

Realize Your Life

currently reading this book Its actually pretty good. I haven't bought it yet, but I seen it when i was browsing through Barns&Noble book store (like always) and sat down at a chair and started read it to page 40 something. This book is mainly introducing anyone to Buddhism. How Buddha was born what a 'Buddha' is. It is an amazing book, I'm currently thinking about becoming a Buddhist(to remind you that this is not something that I just popped up and decided 'oh I want to be a Buddhist') The religion really goes for everything that I stand for and everything I believed life was before me even knowing anything about the religion. But it also taught me how to appreciate life. I'm not trying to turn everyone in to Buddhism its just something that interests me

Literally...

My dear computer has been with me through thick and thin since 2004...ole faithful DELL desktop computer how thee has collected dust bunnies throughout your years...as I sit in this computer chair and type on this keyboard that has bits of chips stuck in the cracks...I fear for my dear life that you will one day die out on me...your warnings about software updates, mcafee virus protection & spyware...the list goes on just to protect you...All my wonderful photographs music and ideas are saved on you...Windows has fucked people over for many years! Its time to switch!

No but seriously, I really am scared that one day I will eventually run out of ALL my disk space and my computer will blow up...its time for a new one I want a MAC macbook!
I can't decide on either the black or white one...Maybe Christmas I'll get one! every time I see the commercials on tv I grit my teeth (lol really?)

And for my life style right about now as I get older and want to do more things. I would enjoy having a macbook you know I'm tired of getting out of bed at 3 in the morning and turning on the dell from hibernation sitting in the uncomfortable chair and finding the things that I just couldn't wait to see/hear in the morning! Atleast if I had a MAC I would be in the bed DAMNIT! enough rambling!
everything is fucking dying out on me...my computer...my shitty Canon Powershot S3 IS...I tend to neglect when I find higher quality things

You caught my eye at a Gothic distance

Out of all the Fall fashion shows this one is the most interesting to me. Not just because its YSL but the whole break down of the looks. The black short bob/mod wigs, to the Black Lipstick, the neutral color power-suits trousers, the pale faces, the thick sole heals, the high-waist!, love love love

F/W RTW YSL 2008 (there was no such thing as some of my favorite looks,it was ALL of them!)

The Blonds F/W 2008

Isn't that the girl from AMTM?...didn't she win?
I haven't seen much of her...

oh fall fashion how I love thee
