Heres an interview I watched and on gaga and I know that sometimes people think that she's full of it, and just some "want to be"But I get where she is coming from after I watched this It made me love her even more. and when you see someone consistently talking about what they strive for and what they live for everyday you think that its a hoax or you think that their not real. Maybe Gaga may not be real or maybe she is but either way if you don't like her she's apart of pop culture and people will be inspired by her either way and you will be involved with you noticing it or not! thats the amazing thing about pop culture even though you don't like someone or something some how you become apart of it.

Like in the 3rd part of the interview with Gaga it all goes back to how much do you personally know, how much have you opened your mind up to do you think local or are you thinking, opening up, and learning universally?

In my opinion if you don't have a love for anything alternative either it be art, music, photography, different cultures, way of life, or religion and your just stuck in this mindset that if anything that isn't normal to YOU that you automatically say its weird or even question to yourself "what the fuck is that?". Yes sometimes Lady Gaga can be very "avant garde" when it comes to her style but isn't that what expressing yourself all about??

If your all into fashion and the runway shows like Couture, and some RTW (Ready To Wear) you see avant garde/unique designers like Rei Kawakubo for comme DES garcons, Gareth Pugh, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen just to name a few that people know when they make these clothes THEY WANT PEOPLE TO WEAR THEM! AND AS TO ME I SEEM THEM AS IF THEY-ARE-ART-PIECES that are beautiful and meant to be worn as physical expression to how you feel. So when I see Gaga I don't say "what the fuck was she thinking" I simply see it as self expression.

I know for a fact that everyone once in their life has worn something "out of the norm" that your friends or family didn't really approve of or get but you wore it anyways just because you wanted to and its what YOU LIKED!

So I'm guessing and I think that if your not open to trying new things or quick to judge then your as ignorant and as close-minded as the next uneducated mind. Thats sort of the whole reason why I blog because I like opening my friends eyes up to new and different things that they never would've looked twice at if I didn't introduce it to them through this blog or actually showing them.

So I'm not asking you to give Lady Gaga a chance I'm just simply asking you to open up your mind and search beyond your horizon and what is main stream

SPRING 2010: CHRIS BENZ

I never heard of Chris Benz but I seen this collection and fell in love with a couple of the pieces sequence right up my alley honestly I haven't seen anything from Spring 2010 RTW that I really liked YET....I'm still waiting for YSL, Balenciaga, Martin Margiela, Jeremy Scott, and Luella.

ON MY MIND/INSPIRATION BOARD: SEPTEMBER PT1

Pixie Geldof pictured in Italian Vogue in a Jeremy Scott jacket which was from his spring 2009 collection I've fallen in love with polka dots and circled cut outs recently and I also see that alot of designers are using them as well i.e.. Alex Wang, Erin Wasson, Chris Benz, etc. Shanya! I swear I love this girl! she's been my muse for a while now I don't even know how to describe her style because I don't really like putting people in a "category" that they havnt officially said themselves (OK) but I just love it!! when I come and visit New York I'm gonna go through her closet and play dress up! Her hair her clothes, she is truly unique. ♥

Jil Sander shoes from Fall 2007 that I've also been thinking about every time I look at them I think "monster shoes". I WANT THEM!

Next pair of shoes which are DEI MILLE shoes I just love these shoes to death the holes the whole color of the shoe reminds me of some punk era, which goes into full circle of my inspiration lately.

Usually when I'm looking for inspiring pictures in which I call "picspiration" I go straight to Tumblr where I find the most amazing blogs with inspiring pictures. This time around I found a couple of pictures that struck a train wreck of ideas (in the most positive way possible) the 3-D glasses I want to recreate and make them larger to actually be wearable. The blonde hair I love with the way its captured in this picture all wavy with the leopard sweater I found amazing (you can see the full photo in my previous post) and last but not least Ashley Olsen I didn't want to actually put a picture of her on here but I couldn't find a picture of just a sheer top like the one Ashley has on here

so thats whats been on my mind latley!

ITS FASHION WEEK AND IM INSPIRED WEEK

I know fashion week has approached and I haven't even seen any collections yet and ever since wednesday I'm inspired and influenced by so many elements that I have come across in the last couple of days its insane some of which that I have posted on here and some of which I still have stored away in my moleskine notebook or on sticky notes for later to actually translate into a design sketch. It feels like since it almost the end of the quarter (at school) of me finishing my sheath dress It seams like less and less time for me to do anything else so I'm really behind of whats going on in the fashion world. But in the words of Ashley Olsen "Thank god for style.com" I'm pretty sure didn't say thank god but she was really relieved that style has all the collections on it. So yes! this week was pretty awesome :)

BUSY BEE!

Sorry I haven't posted in like what....2 days! usually I post spastically its just because this week has been crazy with school assignments designing this dress for class and my technical drawing class equals madness But I promise you this week I'm living pretty much under a rock and posting all week because I got a couple of magazines A COUPLE OF GREAT MAGAZINES! I think I spend too much on magazines but its because US Magazines to excite me anymore maybe a few good pictorials and thats it but I've officially gone International when It comes to fashion journalism, layout placement, cover stories, pictorials,etc So this time around I got these!:

I've skimmed through them all but this weekend I'll actually sit down and actually read through the whole thing I-CAN-NOT-WAIT! and I just had to get the very blogworthy issue of Paris Vogue August 2009 issue! in the magazine fashion editors and stylists and photographers of the magazine paid homage to alot of famous designers and icons (BLONDIE!) and I JUST HAD TO GET IT I only own 2 Paris Vogue's the one with Laura Stone and this August issue but I can not wait and I will be scanning pictures of the editorials that I find inspiring and alot of pictures because I've been seeing on the poll that I put up that you guys want to see more fashion editorial stuff so i'll post it

ON MY MIND: SUPER POST + GLAMOUR ZOMBIES

I love when I have a whirlwind of inspirations of ideas! It sort of feels like when your about to have an orgasm! Thats how I feel when I write down/gather my inspirations (and call me weird if you want) but thats how I feel and this is what I came up with! Usually when I am inspired it goes through music first and that was this song by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs on their Show Your Bones Album called "Way Out" If you want to listen to the song I uploaded it here so you could take a listen!

Then I also was inspired by the NEGATIVITY THAT COMES ALONG WITH FAME/HOLLYWOOD...sex ,lies, drugs and death...I was watching TMZ then that followed....

Terry Richardson's latest photography in Vogue Homme International with this girl with red lipstick on. His whole style in shooting is what really inspired me then followed...

onto the artwork of Dust La Rock you've probably seen alot of his artwork if you know A-Trak,Kid Sister, or Fools Gold Records...I automatically thought of brains and zombies & monsters (dont ask me how! this is just how my BRAIN WORKS!) then followed...

Madonnas music video "Hollywood" the lyrics and the styling, directing, artwork, setting, etc of the music video the pastels!!

Blaak Homme a million things ran through my head when I seen their collection for example...1990's...Punk...Grunge...Charles Manson....Blood...Insane...Radiology...New York...Man Holes...alot of UK Punk Vinyl Album covers that I cant name at once. Those are all the things that rand through my mind when I seen this amazing collection! Whats not to love and here are the designers

SPRING 2010 MENS: HENRICK VIBSKOV

Once in a while SRATCH THAT!...All the time I'm looking for new, great, and up and coming fashion designers and I think that Vibskov might be one of them. I'm not sure if hes new or not but this is my first time ever seeing one of his collections so Its new for me! What I love about his work is that that first piece above is amazing! I would wear that whole outfit! But the whole collection was kind of boring. But over all it was colorful and it was nice to see some color in some of these designers collections once and a while.

IMPORTED SNACKS & MAGAZINES

While I was in my local georcery store I was searching for this diet tea that my hairstlist had mentioned to me since we ALWAYS discuss on losing weight. So while I was on my search for it I came across this, and the funny thing is that I never knew that there was an "imported goods" section in that store lol (you learn/see something new everyday!) and I cam across Ahmad Tea Evening Tea and thought to myself I should try it! I don't know if this is "real" English tea but I decided to try it out! if anyone knows any really good English Tea brands please let me know!

For as of all the magazines, I'm going to read them tonight and write an review post tomorrow or later on tonight! (+ scans of inside the magazines if anyone wants them? let me know in a comment)

Lately. I've been really inspired by Mens Fashion the structured tailoring of it ALL. I don't think I could ever see myself designing just Mens Wear but I'm really just falling in love with male models, the certain play in Diversity now a days when It comes to Male Vs Female in styling aka "what women should wear, and what boys should wear" type of deal,  do you get what I'm saying? I guess you can say the whole build of the male in general im intrigued by

(remember that this V Man Mag has Ashley Olsen in it!) 

The last MISSBEHAVE....RIP...The only reason why I bought this was because this is the last one to complete my collection of Missbehaves (the only one I don't have is the very first one with Nelly Furtado on the cover)...and PLUS Jeremy Scott's Spring 2009 collection was featured through out the whole magazine!!

4.30.09 HAUL & MENTIONABLES & GOOD NEWS!

I got a bag on sale at Bakers for 20$! I couldn't pass that up! and plus I needed a new bag!

nothing special I bought a new pretty hot pink case for my blackberry!

I know I'm super late on this "trend" of wearing these glasses but my thing is ALWAYS and I can definitely say for a fact that I don't really follow trends (besides that 80's one in 06/07) even though we all do follow them,  I can say that I don't because I never have enough money to follow them! of course I'm a trend follower! but most of my "trends" pour out on to this blog rather than my appearance. So I've always wanted these and now I got them! I don't care if people say wearing them are outdated! pffttt! who's life am I living again??? mines! lol so kiddies if you if you think a trend is old and out of date and your afraid to do it don't be ashamed!!! (but if its that 80's fluorescent shit... please leave that back in the closet thats DONE!)

ok now for the mentionables! ever since I was watching one of Richie Nickels youtube videos where he mentioned having moleskin notebooks for just jotting down random things or whatever I had to see what It was about and I bought some! I'm so random all the time and when I'm on the bus I'm always being inspired by some crazy person or just sketching or just something random that my teachers say at school thats very inspiring!

Plus I bought this book of Fashion Now 2 It was on sale also at my favorite store in the universe! Barns & Noble

Hot Topic Hot Topic how I love thee! I swear they have the best band tshirts! I was going to get another NWA shirt and the Nirvana one but I was getting a little money crazy and decided to just get this one! I had to get it! :)

and FOR THE GOOD NEWS!!!

I GOT A JOB!! THE MOST CONVENIENT JOB OF MY LIFE! I WORK AT MY SCHOOL (THE ART INSTITUTE OF DALLAS) I'LL BE WORKING (ON PAY) FOR THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE FILING PAPERS! THE MOST EASIEST JOB RIGHT?!!! YES! AND I GET PAID VERY WELL! I START MONDAY! YAY! :)

P.S I NEVER REALLY DO HAULS BECAUSE I NEVER HAD A JOB TO JUST BUY STUFF LIKE THIS! LOL BUT I CAN'T SAY THAT NOW SO YOU'LL BE SEEING MORE STUFF THAT I BUY ON HERE FROM NOW ON!
