MY THOUGHT & VIEWS ON KANYE WEST'S 'RUNAWAY' FILM

(photo:all screen captures are by me)
Overall I thought that the whole thing was beautiful. I can truly see and appreciate every single detail and thought put into this film and that's what makes it amazing the makeup the wardrobe... and even though I don't know the inspiration behind the whole story itself. But from what I'm assuming from what's been seen via twitter it reminded people of alot of the Disney film The Little Mermaid and/or some other mythological story (sorry I was at work when the film premiered yesterday). I don't really have alot to say but the film was visually an inspiration of art, music, and the way we are not bound by just one thing as artists. Kanye West has got to be one of the many few artists that have really inspired me over the coarse of the last past years he's one of the many that has inspired many...

*****UPDATE I SEEN THE INTERVIEWS AFTER THE DEBUT OF THE FILM AND WAS JUST....NO WORDS****
The film's narrative focuses on the ill-fated relationship between West and a phoenix that plummets from the cosmos (Selita Ebanks). Their union is torn apart after the otherworldly creature is discriminated against for her curious behavior and features. Buoyed by West's soulful soundtrack, comprised of G.O.O.D. Friday joints and tracks slated for his forthcoming fifth LP, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the film's subtexts include themes of social ostracism and rebirth — issues the MC has said he identifies with.

P.S On Kanye's new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy I know for a fact that my favorite song is going to be 'Blame Game' featuring John Leggend & Pusha T because when I heard it in the film I was like...this is the-one! I cant wait until the album drops!!

NO REPLY +RIPE AGE + DAYS OF OUR LIVES + WILD AND YOUNG +UNDECIDED + ECONOMIC TIMES

I honestly don't know what I want to do in life...I wont ever set anything in stone...Although I am considering traveling the world a possibility...I want to feel cultured I want to feel love I want to meet new people I want to step out of my comfort zone I want to breath air in a new city I want to dance I want to feel free I don't like this feeling of taking steps and having to plan out my life step by step worrying about money all the time and how its going to effect me and my future learning process! So I'm not setting anything in stone or saying that I still want to do one specific thing in life....but I am undecided thats for sure and this is the age that, that occurs I'm only 20 years old for god sake! Nothing is set in stone I'm not on anyones clock but my own! I'm tired of being afraid and not wanting to venture out! well nows the time! :)

ON MY MIND: PS FALL 2010 + ISLAMIC ART + CALLIGRAPHY +ALEXANDER MCQUEEN MEN F/2010

(photos:google, zakariya.net, style.com, GQ.com)

(taking notes during the film to blog later about!)

Today in my Creative Geometry class we learned more about tessellation's and watched a video on Islamic art and how the artists built mosques out of geometric tessellation's and patterns, and in your everyday life you wouldn't think that the art history would some how relate to math when you first look at it but it does! The Islamic culture was either not aloud to draw people or other graphic things in their art so they decided to create these geometric designs and have them repeat themselves for as long as they wanted to on a building or whatever they were drawing. (Correct me if I'm incorrect). With me being so passionate about art and everything seeing this film in my GEOMETRY class out of everything made me some what appreciate math...because everyone who knows me knows that I strongly dislike math
