Ever since I've started my new job...my friends said that I've changed you know the classic "you never have time for us anymore" and I feel really bad because when I get home from either work or school I'm so tired and for them to say that makes me feel like I shouldn't be tired at all its the same thing I have with myself I've been really stressed latley because of my "life change" and its really taking a toll on me but mentally I haven't felt it yet? Because to me when I work I don't stop for anything to take a break or anything. But sometimes I have to remind myself to slow down or just center myself. My life is very sporadic. I've tryed to make a schedule but I haven't really organized my life until a point where I can find intervals between school & work or even when i get off of work. I don't know I need to figure something out SOON!

Plus for my summer break(the 2 weeks I do have) I'm going to go join a yoga club and go everyday...and then try to work out 3 days a week. Somethings got to give, you know?

NEVER UNDERSTAND?

I try to make this as blog less depressing than I try to make it out to be... But I have no where else to dispense my feelings besides this blog... Lately I've been feeling alone... Creatively wise...I feel like I cant really express my creations/ideas/theories to anyone and the people I do express them with they either don't really understand... or they're not interested in the things I like... and Its hard to find someone who's into the type of Fashion and Art, etc im into in Texas at the least...and Its not like I dont try to converse with people at my school to find out if there's anyone remotely something like me...but there isn't It really makes me sad because I feel alone and It makes me feel emotional I get tired of being alone. I need to find a twin... or either I need to get the fuck out of Texas... But I want to finish up college here...I don't know what I should do. I'm just tired of feeling alone... I want a best friend or at least A GOOD FRIEND thats into the same things I am and is cool. Someone who I can relate to...

I think the word itself "collaboration" might be one of my favorite words. But only used in the sense of being that, the opposite person whom your collaborating with shows true ownership to their designs and has the heart in they're work that is genuine. As I was on Kanyes blog I seen this its Michael Zarvos's collaboration with Balenciagas iconic handbag (my favorite!). His artwork is amazing I must say I would love to see an actual bag created/painted in silver or that bright hot pink that he spray painted it with!

My mother said to me today(& previous)

and I quote....now this is something that I'll remember for the rest of my life and this is what pushes me to move forward in my career she said "Lana I'm not living on false dreams like you do...you have to realize that money doesn't just come from anywhere" and how this came about was when I first was in the process of going to The Art Institute of Dallas she didn't want to even have part in helping me with financial aid because she wasn't doing to well with her job because they were laying people off...but not just did she tell me to get a "grip" on reality and not go to the school at all she stormed out of the financial aid office and didn't help me at all....I sat with my Admissions person (with whom I love if it wasn't for her and my desire for designing I'd honestly be going to the community college here where I live...doing shit! studying in English/Basics??? hell no) 

What basically what I take from that quote that my mom stated is that to me the impossible is possible and if theres a will theres a way no matter what your financial problems are you can still do what you want to do!! this is AMERICA where people are poor in the streets & still following their dreams!! So my mentality is that If you have the drive to do something that you want to do in life and you want to make it a career then I say go for it!!!

Because when I do dream/think about the things I want to do, they're insane and sometimes arent really realistic but I am so detailed and I know how I want everything to be and look that sometimes I can be a perfectionist and if it isnt how I want it then its not going to get done or what have you. I don't see ANYTHING as being over expensive or something  not being up to its highest quality. Because for example if I'm doing something for somebody like making a garment its going to be of the best fabrics and detailed no matter HOW MUCH MONEY IT WILL COST it is my vision and this is what I had in mind SO YES MOTHER I AM LIVING ON FALSE DREAMS and sometimes you have to fight for what you think is right. False dreams are the best dreams

So if you don't already know I am a Super bookworm! I'm always reading books on biographies ,auto biographys,great novelists, fashion books, culture books etc etc! so today I was in our school library and checked out these books! cant wait to read them!..when ever that might be?! this weekend or next monday when I'm off! Lol no! and also I'll be scanning pages from ALL books! theres going to be some amazing stuff in there!
