ACRYLIC PAINTING!

MINI POST

Today I went to walmart because I had to buy some Acrylic paints and brushes for a class assignment due next week! so I bought these and tonight I guess I'll see how it turns out i'll probably sketch a couple of things and show them on here how they turn out (if the quality of the pictures are good enough) lol

I havent painted in a long time maybe since junior high maybe?...who knows anywho! there are some lovley colors in there that I am inlove with!!!

I'm having too much fun on photobooth(especially today) and listening to this on repeat

FALL 2009 REVIEW: TOPSHOP UNIQUE FALL 2009

BENETTON AD X TANK GIRL X FUTURISTIC ♥

Topshop Unique is one of the greatest things that has ever happen to Topshop! this Fall the collection is very neon 80s/90s. I absolutly fell inlove with the shoes and the metallic sequence wind pants,the layers,the graphics! oui vey! and plus its affordable! just like the last collection from Topshop Unique I'm in awe with this one also

CIRCLES & GORILLAS!

Not much to say on the collection yes it was differnt and innovative but simliar circular geometric designs where also done by Dolce & Gabanna, but what attracted me to his collection this season(SPRING) was those gorilla graphics! especially the one on the right! I want it!

FALL 2009 REVIEW: Luella

HOW DO I LOOK? LIKE A VERY STYLISH GIRL

There's only a few fashion designers that I follow and Luella Barley is one of them ever since I seen those  sliver oxford shoes

back in her Spring 2007 rtw collection I was inlove. It seems like with Luella(atleast to me) Her style is like highschool chic (and I don't mean that in a negative way) what I'm trying to say is that its like you know in the movies when there in highschool the cool chic girls in the school would wear clothes like these...well kind of like Gossip Girl! Very playful. and thats what I love about Luella her collections are very colorful playful and very creative!

PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHT: NOT WHERE IM SUPOSE TO BE?

WARNING BEFORE YOU READ THIS IS A VENTING POST(COMMENT IF U WANT)

Over these last couple of days I've been contemplating on life and how it isnt how I want it to be right now. But then I kick myself in the ass and realize that things come within time...and things change with in time...I'm just so used to getting that instant gratification, and as I get older I'm learning that I can live without things.(like "materialistic" things) I'm growing as a person. I feel like I'm stuck in this gigantic hole and I'm slowly climbing up it inch by inch. and by that I mean Im slowly getting things done that I want changed in my life. But obvoiusly I'm not getting them done fast enough or good enough...by me going to school and trying to do other stuff it isnt good enough.

My mother expects me to have conquered the world by age 18... and reminds me that I'm not good enough...she compared me to my old friend that shes seen today and she says "oh so and so has a job,her own place her own car...shes got her life together shes doing what shes suppose to be doing" and that hurts because I'm trying so hard...No one is hiring so its hard for me to find a job, and I get so stressed from people saying "no no no were not hiring no no no"  that I just give up and not go look for a job at all...I just feel guilty for not being better, Its like I'll always have this thing about making my mother proud of me in anything I do, I want to prove the world to her...and I don't think that anyone can change that. It just seems as an instinct to me...

I feel like giving up and just live in a hole for the rest of my life, but I know for a fact that I have purpose in this life to make something out of myself and be great. My life is bitter sweet right now its 50/50...Its like I want to live alone but then on the other side I need my family their the only thing that I have and the only thing close to real love I'll ever have....I'm just so confused and just stuck...

I see the people that I used to go to school with, still looking the same doing the same thing (which is nothing) and It pisses me off because It reminds me that I need to get the fuck out of here and do something.

Over the past couple of months from me reading my daily reads and other of my various favorite fashion & style blogs like Garbage Dress and Sea of Shoes I've seen that they've posted quite often about Maison Martin Margiela...and honestly I've known nothing about the line so I decided to look it up and see what it was all about and Martin Margiela is a genius! for me to see such a brilliant collection for the 20th Anniversary I was amazed. To me it was very avant garde, you can tell it was something special just by viewing the whole show. Everytime (well latley) when I need inspiration I look at this collection! ITS THAT AMAZING, I've become a big fan!

FALL 2009 REVIEW: 3.1 Phillip Lim

3.1 Phillip Lim, as soon as I seen the first piece of the collection I knew I was going to love it. Its so 1960s/1970s mod era (which I am obsessed about) I most definitely loved the wigs I want one like this! (in the first picture!) I would so greatful if someone could tell me where to find one!...But back to the collection, the skirts the dresses I personally like! It's all very glam

FALL 2009: RODARTE

BEAUTIFUL MONSTERS!

Kate & Laura can I venture into your minds? can I be your understudy?...intern maybe? I'm such a fan of Rodarte ever since I seen those collaboration Studded heels that they did with Christian Louboutin I instantly died! This is my dream! I want to be this successful when I'm in my 20s and Rodarte is setting a well example!
My likes and dislikes about the collection; What I love about it is that I had sort of this futuristic deconstructed broken but put together look about it that I loved. To me its like when lightning strikes and you capture it on a photo that's what the collection reminds me of. The only thing that I didn't really like what that the in the beginning of the collection(the pale greens,tans,light grays) it all looked the same for the first 5 or 6 looks...even the models looked the same there was no versatility! But when it got to the cobalt blue/black colored dresses I WAS IN AWE!

Doesnt it seem like Rodarte's "signature" is those knited webbed holey leggings/ but now its on the arms!



I WANT TO WEAR THIS!
