4.30.09 HAUL & MENTIONABLES & GOOD NEWS!
I got a bag on sale at Bakers for 20$! I couldn't pass that up! and plus I needed a new bag!
nothing special I bought a new pretty hot pink case for my blackberry!
I know I'm super late on this "trend" of wearing these glasses but my thing is ALWAYS and I can definitely say for a fact that I don't really follow trends (besides that 80's one in 06/07) even though we all do follow them, I can say that I don't because I never have enough money to follow them! of course I'm a trend follower! but most of my "trends" pour out on to this blog rather than my appearance. So I've always wanted these and now I got them! I don't care if people say wearing them are outdated! pffttt! who's life am I living again??? mines! lol so kiddies if you if you think a trend is old and out of date and your afraid to do it don't be ashamed!!! (but if its that 80's fluorescent shit... please leave that back in the closet thats DONE!)
ok now for the mentionables! ever since I was watching one of Richie Nickels youtube videos where he mentioned having moleskin notebooks for just jotting down random things or whatever I had to see what It was about and I bought some! I'm so random all the time and when I'm on the bus I'm always being inspired by some crazy person or just sketching or just something random that my teachers say at school thats very inspiring!

I GOT A JOB!! THE MOST CONVENIENT JOB OF MY LIFE! I WORK AT MY SCHOOL (THE ART INSTITUTE OF DALLAS) I'LL BE WORKING (ON PAY) FOR THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE FILING PAPERS! THE MOST EASIEST JOB RIGHT?!!! YES! AND I GET PAID VERY WELL! I START MONDAY! YAY! :)

Yes its true! I have a crush on Faris Badwan aka Rotter ever since last saturday at the concert when they preformed...I've fallen in love...his stage presence the whole bands stage presence... It's like he's hypnotizing you are something I could'nt even sing along because I was just watching him (lol sounds weird) but yeahhhhhhh...I had a the weirdest dream about him this morning too..ahhhhh!!

Mr. Marin Margiela...how you have changed my life ever since I had that fall out with Stefano Pilati for YSL, I had to turn to another designer that gives me something new every season! I'm not saying that I've always known about MMM It just happened one day when I was on Style and happen to see his Spring 2009 Collection which was very avant garde...nothing I've ever seen before and as I've grown older and started to like constructed looks such as jewelry and art,etc I grew an appreciation for the brand. Then I happen to stumble upon Garbage Dress which Zana Bayne who is also a fan of Mr. Margiela (which will tie into this post later on!)
Zana Bayne I'm so happy that I came across her blog a couple of months ago! her neutral colored wardrobe her love for MMM just her style all together amazes me!
The love for neutrals in general, color is out of my life (and I know a couple of years later I'll look at this and laugh or something...) But as of right now neutrals are just whats right for me.

CURRENTLY CHANNELING
Nirvana! Since I am a product of the 90's I'm in love with the whole grunge movement, the emotion of it all. Kurt Cobain has gone in the book as a style icon for really creating a new type of style back in the 1990s called 'grunge'. But I wont give you all the facts! lol I love this look the dirty,careless and carefree fuck the world type. I even remember vividly Nirvana on MTV unplugged Kurt Cobain in that cashmere sweater worn out tshirt and holy jeans and straggly hair, but I never knew the lyrics I just remember seeing it! I think that these were my favorite performances of them...JUST AMAZING

Times like these are the times I wish I lived in New York. Lately I've been so intrigued by Artists and all forms of art. Isn't it amazing how anything can be considered as "art"? and that inspires me the most. Especially after watching this video from the New York Magazines YouTube channel. Showed in the video above are some of the things that I would've loved to witness in real life...but one day I'll get to go to a museum I most definitely want to go the Andy Warhol museum...AHHH ITS ALL A DREAM!

I've always loved my sneakers hi-top dirty and scuffed and broken in...especially white nikes! those are the best. I know alot of sneaker heads that would kick someone's ass if someone stepped on their sneakers but I don't mind, Isnt that weird?...well as long as your not heavy and hurt my toe or something like that

I know on this blog that I favor the most out of the Olsen twins is Mary-Kate but as I was in the search looking in the archive of Olsen candid of some Louboutin shoes she had...anyways thats besides the point! Ashley Olsen is beautiful and I didn't really know why I haven't noticed it before but my admiration with her simple clean looks over the past two years have caught my eye. Ashley is becoming my new favorite, even though since 09 the twins have been keeping a low appearance in the public?

Today is the 22nd of April and I have to admit that 19 feels pretty good even though other people say that its 'just another year' lol but to me it feels so beautiful and blissful! and plus Happy Earth Day! Recycle today,don't leave on any un-used lights, help make this world a better place

i know this is really old but... & sick of blogging?

side note: I'm really getting sick of blogging... :(
its a 50/50 thing...love & hate....I really want to study & read more about historical art and modern art...
the 2 things that mainly are inspiring me the most right now is the 1990s (movies & styles) and Art in general...
maybe I will return in a couple of days with art to show you on this blog or something new to show...but right now I feel like everyone is doing the same thing...just posting pictures and saying i like this and this...When I first created this you could tell from my early posts on planee jane that if I did make a post they would be more DETAILED AND DESCRIPTIVE something that I was really passionate about...
From now on I'm going to try and change that. I don't want you to just come to this blog and not gain or be inspired from it (if you arent already) I know most people are just intrigued by pictures alone but I want you to actually READ the posts because if I do type something it may be long, but its coming from the heart. So by next week I promise to have more detailed posts
